What a weekend! Full of peeks and valleys! Thursday afternoon we take Cole to the doc’s we fear he has a ear infection. Nope he does have a cold but he is already getting his molars! Thats why he’s been a little fussy. We thought he was grabbing at his ears but musta been grabbing at his jaw instead. I got to spend some alone time with the wifey as we went to see Santa. Got most of that stuff done. Even got to have dinner at a sit down resturant (Texas RoadHouse).

 

Friday comes, paid a few bills, Seth comes home from school. He passed his spelling test! 9/10! Over the last few weeks we have really been putting fourth an extra effort on his spelling. So far over the last 4 tests he has missed a total of only 4 words! He’s doing so good, I was very proud of him so I let him choose dinner and of course he picked pizza. Chip off the old block!

 

Friday night I get a call from the Wife, car broke down at her work. This sucks b/c my truck isn’t working right now b/c it has bad brakes. Thankfully my Mom was able to give her a ride home in the morning when she got off and we got a hold of my Uncle who changed the starter, thermostat and oil change. 300$ later the car was working by saturday evening, which our christmas funds took a hit, but thankfully we are 95% done.

 

Sunday we cleaned house, watched the Steelers game and finally put up the Christmas tree. This year has been so stressful it doesn’t even seem like christmas. I don’t really talk to my Dads side of the family that much anymore. Seems like the more days that go by the farther we are away from each other. Then my wife’s side is such a pain in the ass. No matter what we do we can never please them, and I always turn into the Anti-christ. So I’m over it. Thankfully my Mom has moved back home to Ohio, so we’ll be going over there this year after the boys open there gifts from Santa. I suspect I’ll see my step sisters (at least on a drop in) at Christmas. Wish my Sis, Shannon would finally move up here... she kept saying Dec, Dec Dec. Well its here but Shannon isn’t... miss you sis!
